How to make it

  • Separate broccoli into florets, peel and slice stem into 1/2 inch slices
  • Place stem slices into boiling water first, return to boil, add florets and cook 3 minutes.
  • Drain broccoli in a colander and immediately place under cold running water to stop cooking.
  • Drain thoroughly.
  • Wisk together honey, vinegar, salt and oil.
  • Combine vegatables,add pepper and toss with dressing.
  • Chill before serving, giving it another stir.

    My mother hates rasins too, but she'll eat dried prunes, dates and figs go figure.
