Ingredients

How to make it

  • Brown the onion and garlic with the meat's
  • drain
  • add the celery, carrots, peas, mix well over heat
  • add the salt and peper to taste
  • Now I will set it aside for about a half hour
  • once cooled I will place the food in a mixing bowl
  • Now for the fun part rolling the Lumpia, pulling the wrapers apart just takes time, practices along with patients ( so buy an extra pack)
  • Take the two eggs, and beat them in a bowl, and set aside
  • Take a wraper add about a table spoon and a half of the meat, and roll, make sure you fold the ends inwards, Brush the egg mixture to seal the wrap.
  • ( Now you can freeze them once you have rolled them)
  • Fry until golden brown, and enjoy
  • The sauce
  • Heat a sauce pan
  • add the apple vingar
  • while it is heating start adding you sugar,
  • I have use 1 and 1 before ( 1 cup Apple Vinger w/1 cup sugar)
  • it depends on how sweet, and sour you want your sauce.
  • Pepper to tast, and Chilie pepper for show its up to you.

I used to work with a wonderful woman originally from the Phillipines who would make lumpia for us everytime we had a potluck lunch. I haven't had lumpia since Bonifacia retired, so I am definitely going to try this recipe. Thanks!
