Polenta Italina For Cornmeal

- 4 cups water shopping list
- 1 cup quick-cooking polenta ( cornmeal ) shopping list
- 2 Tbs margarine shopping list
- 1/2 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese shopping list
- 1/2 tsp salt shopping list
- pasta sauce fresh or from a 8oz jar, about 1 cup heated shopping list
How to make it
- Bring the water to a boil.
- Slowly whisk in the polenta.
- Add the salt and cook, stirring frequently for 5 minutes.
- Add cooked or heated pasta sauce, (do not put too much it will be soupy).
- Stir in the Parmesan cheese and margarine. Mix well.
- Can be served with Sauge, chicken or any other meat
- Serve immediately.

Tasty dish, but needs some spices. On its own it is for me somewhat bland. I made it once more with some tweaks. I added onion, garlic, some minced rosemary and basil, green bell pepper and chicken.
