Ingredients
  • 8 OZ cream cheese softened on the counter... not melted!
  • 1 HEAPING tablespoon horse radish grated... you can use less
  • 2 oz jar or bag dried chipped beef
  • 4 green onions... (is it safe to use them now?)

Directions
  1. In your processor, chop the beef
  2. Set aside
  3. Process cream cheese until smooth
  4. Add Horseradish, pulse
  5. Add green onion, pulse
  6. Add 1/4 of the beef, pulse
  7. Remove blade from bowl and set bowl in frig for about 60 minutes.
  8. When chilled take out, form into a ball and roll in the rest of the beef.
  9. I put it in a shallow serving bowl, and keep covered until serving time. Put bowl on plate and surround with rye breads and crackers..
  10. Very good!

There was an e-coli scare regarding green onions in Taco Bells. For more information, check http://www.medicinenet.com/script/main/art.asp?articlekey=77978
