Easy, rich, not too spicy hot sauce recipe patterned from the Mexico Chiquito restaurant in North Little Rock, AR. Our family's fave restaurant for over 50 years!

Ingredients
  • 1 large 32 ounce Hunt's Whole Tomatoes
  • 1 large fresh jalapeno pepper, cut top off
  • 3-5 cloves garlic, smashed
  • 1/2 -2 teaspoons salt, or salt to your taste

Directions
  1. In food processor puree whole pepper, garlic, and salt into a paste
  2. In blender puree tomatoes taking care to not LIQUEFY!
  3. Put both mixtures into a bowl and stir to blend
  4. Put in refrigerator for a few hours to serve cold with hot tortilla chips
  5. Keeps for a good while in the fridge or sterilize and can if you like
