Death By Chocolate

- 2 cups all-purpose flour shopping list
- 1 tablespoon baking powder shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda shopping list
- 5/8 cup unsweetened cocoa shopping list
- 1/4 cup butter, softened shopping list
- 2 cups white sugar shopping list
- 2 eggs shopping list
- 1 cup sour cream shopping list
- 1/2 cup water shopping list
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract shopping list
- 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips shopping list
- confectioners' sugar for dusting shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a 10 inch Bundt pan. Sift together the flour, baking powder, baking soda and cocoa. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the sour cream, water and vanilla. Beat in the flour mixture just until incorporated. Stir in chocolate chips. Pour batter into prepared pan.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean. Let cool in pan for 10 minutes, then turn out onto a wire rack and cool completely. When cake is cool, sift confectioners' sugar over the top.

Sounds delicious, love good moist chocolate cake. One question - is 1 Tablespoon of baking powder the correct amount? ^5

Yummy! Great recipe for a chocoholic like me! Would love to see a pic. Can't imagine how it bakes up with baking powder and baking soda, but no salt... Sounds delicious! Thanks for sharing.
