We do a lot of shopping online, I hate crowds. We have started the shopping. I love Christmas. We are getting our tree in a couple of weeks and I can't wait. The hard part is figuring out where to put it. I can't wait to get my Santa collection out and start putting that all over the house. I might do that this weekend. Probably tomorrow morning. I've got too much to do this morning and I work tonite.

I love Christmas, too. Love the shopping. Sometimes I get frustrated with the crowds, like when I'm in a hurry, but, that's just part of it! I am just like a little kid. I just love it. Love to have little Christmas decorations in every room in the house, something outside, wassial on the stove making the house smell good,...can't wait!! We will decorate sometime in the next couple of days. Juggling between the chores and shopping I need to do when I am not at work! LOL

Love the lights and the fellowship, the joy of giving, the baking, the parties, friends and good cheer. Haven't been to a mall in four years and don't plan on going now. I like shopping on-line and in independent mom and pop stores if I can. Last year, I made most of the gits, hand crocheted items and baked goods, some handwoven baskets. (have a pattern I can finish in two hours of steady work, a cat's head shape) We're working on the trees between the chores and we should have three up by tomorrow night. Planning the lights is up to my own private Clark Griswald, the electrician in him makes it more elaborate each year....I keep aiming for elegant and pretty and yet it seems to grow a little more I look. Kind of like his Hawaiian shirt collection. Happiness and blessings to all of you.

I actually bought afew things yesterday at TJ Maxx, but am going to do most online this year too. I do dislike the shopping, but love how no matter how behind I feel it all comes together in the end. My kids are already humming Jingle bells and I am really glad there are 4 full weeks this year between Turkey day and Christmas. More time for cookies and caroling and just enjoying the season. My husabnd is putting up the lights today on the house and all is well with the world.

Got all the decorations out tonight. Have a few of them up. Rearranging and getting everything ready to do the big decorating job Thursday night...it's so much fun! Bryan has been a bachelor for 10+ years, and had a little tabletop tree that he has moved to the kitchen. He put a big tree up last year, for the first time since his daughter was little, and loved it! Now he is as excited as I am!! My daughter and I are puttng a tree in her room, too. She picked a white tree with blue and silver ornaments! So excited! Started my shopping, and it's so hard not to go overboard! I love surprising everyone and watching their faces when they open presents! My brother and I play jokes on eachother every so often with the gifts, and it is my turn to get him. A couple of years ago he sent me all over the house to find my gift (unwrapped a note that said to look in Mom's china cabinet, where I found another note, etc), and my gift was under the tree the whole time! LOL...we had a ball! Have to think of something good to do for him this year. (Suggestions welcome - LOL). I could go on and on, but, will let someone else have a turn for a little while...have Christmas music on and Bryan is working...can sing as loud as I want...(I usually do, anyway, tho). :@)
