    Bacon Roast Chicken With Potatoes
It snowed here yesterday. I hate snow. Pretty much unheard of around here. I came home cranky and cold. Good thing I live alone.
I put this in the oven and soon my little house had the greatest smells in it! My kitchen got nice and warm from the oven and things started looking up. Well, the beer probably helped, too, but this was a huge reason for my better mood! This came out perfectly with the most wonderful taste combination. The onions were just a little bit crunchy - just the way I like them. I ate one thigh and a few potatoes and then nibbled on a drumstick - which I ended up finishing. Bacon, potatoes and chicken. This is a new comfort food for me. I will definitely make this again.
I have a feeling this is a dish better hot, though, with all the nice herbs and the bacon. I'm going to reheat this one.
Perfect. It made my day. The snow didn't go away but my bad mood did.
    Thanks, Pat.
A bit more on the recipe.

It looks delicious Frankie:) How much snow did you get there Frankie? I know you have mentioned before that your area rarely gets snow! I bookmarked this to try. Thanks for letting us know about this lovely post:)

Thank you, ladies. Its very good. I reheated some for my breakfast this morning. Very tasty.
We only got 1/2" but then it started to rain and then it froze so it turned into 1/2" of ice. Snow is very rare for this area. Which is one of the reasons why I live here! :)

I saved this to make with all thighs :)
I hate cold weather too Frankie, but I do like when it snows every 5 years or so :) It's never a lot a lot of snow when it does happen and it doesn't last long. Bri's seen snow twice (she's almost 9) and Caiden has never seen it (3). So when we get it, it's fun!!
