    I was leery of this due to the red wine and was thinking that the red wine was used to somehow compliment the chipotle but it didn't work for me. I think white wine goes with shrimp. But maybe it doesn't go with chipotle. I don't know. Still - I had my dinner and will eat leftovers tomorrow night.

I'm surprised the shells are left on. I know they say shrimp aren't supposed to shrink as much if you leave the shells on, but it'd make it a lot less messy if you take them off first. I guess the idea is to lick the sauce of the shells, take the shells off and then eat it with rice?

Regardless though...I have never had red wine with shrimp. It seems strong for shrimp, but like Janet said, the chipotles probably would cover that up some. I had to bookmark this just to see how it turns out :)
