Someone gave me a bottle of Butter Pecan Syrup for Christmas and I tried it out on these. I don't know that they are the best buttermilk pancakes on the planet. They taste like - well - pancakes! ha But, they were good and puffy and I ate three. One too many. Time for a nap. :)

Thank you, Marie. I got a new pan and I am still getting used to it. Those are the prettier ones. :) The syrup is good! I think it would be good on ice cream. It is more pecany than buttery.

Those do look fluffy! I want pancakes now.... lol! I have a small bottle of butter pecan syrup that someone gave me too! I agree at not really get the butter taste from it. It's really sweet though! Saved these, the kids would appreciate it :)
