Bisquick Chocolate Chip Cookies

Recipe by Wolkristen: Bisquick Chocolate Chip Cookies/saved
It's a good cookie. Made them rounded Tablespoon size instead of teaspoon. Upped the bake time by 3 minutes. I refuse to make teaspoon size cookies.
These don't flatten out much when they bake. You'll have to smoosh them down good.
Made these sans the chocolate chips. Did use pecans from the neighbors tree and homemade Bisquick. Oh, homemade brown sugar too. Made two dozen.

Very cool you can get pecans right off your neighbours tree, Points. Did you have to roast them first before using them? I have never seen a pecan tree! I also like a decent sized cookie. Yummy looking pic!

Didn't roast them although that probably would be a good idea to bring out more nutty flavor. Mother likes to pick them off the ground, crack, shell and pick out the goodies.
We had 10 to 15 pounds of them that, after all that picking, she just gave away at her senior center for $1/lb. In the stores it's $8 to $13/lb. Trying to get her to goose it up to $5/lb for next year. And the bandits that buy it from her will still be saving money.

I happened to be searching for my homemade dry Bisquick recipe when I stumbled on a few interesting uses for Bisquick. These cookies were one of them.

Have a meatball looking breakfast snack lined up in a couple of weeks using Bisquick and hot Italian sausage. Might just have to whip up some gravy to ladle over them and scrambled eggs on the plate too.

Wow those LUCKY DUCKS at the senior center! Pecans cost a fortune here. They are between $15 to $20 per pound or more. Next year she should really boost up the price to cover a bit of her time, Points. Your Mom is charging peanuts for them:) I still think it is very cool having a pecan tree near you!
