    Chalet Style Chicken
Very tasty sauce. I think it would go great with meatloaf. The sauce instructions are a little vague but I whisked the ingredients together, brought it to a low boil, whisked in the cornstarch slurry and low boiled it for three minutes or so. Probably pretty easy to figure that out, but maybe not so much for real beginner cooks. Oh - and I didn't have any ginger.
    Added my picture!

I made this once again and wanted to add my pic to the recipe:) I didn't have a whole chicken to roast but baked some chicken breasts with lemon juice, thyme (dried that's all I had) & smoked paprika..served this absolutely delicious sauce over both the chicken & mashed potatoes!

Thanks for adding your picture to the recipe page Marie. It's a good one! And as I said previously, I think that's a fantastic idea to use chicken pieces with this recipe and I never think to do that! :) I use dried thyme myself.

Wow its crickets in the IMI! Anyway I made this delicious chicken finally! I tented the chicken with foil until the last 45 minutes and it got a nice and golden, the perfect crispy skin. My daughter always dips her chicken (no matter whats on it or cooked in) in BBQ sauce, but I made her try the sauce (she LOVES lea & Perrins) and she skipped the BBQ sauce tonight, wow!! Served this up with mashed potatoes and mixed sauteed veggies. Thanks Janet!!!

That really is a wonderful sauce. I think it would go great with other things. Looks like you had the perfect sides, too.
You added a wonderful picture! Are you going to rate it? :)
On a salad kick lately but I'll be back cooking soon! :)

Glad you enjoyed it Michelle and I'm tickled your daughter liked the sauce enough to forgo her BBQ sauce. :)

Thanks! I was relieved we didn't have to pull out the BBQ sauce once again!
