Chinese - Style Baked Chicken Thighs

Recipe by Sosousme: Chinese Style Baked Chicken Thighs
Fast recipe. Good taste. Watch out for the salt content if you make your own sauce, as I did: Homemade Hoisin Sauce
This sauce recipe makes exactly enough for the chicken recipe. Taste the sauce before you think about seasoning the chicken.
Thighs are plenty done at a half an hour.
Served it up with some orange/apple rice.

How did I miss this one? I love chicken thighs and I love hoisin sauce and I love fast and I love lining pans with foil. :-P Sounds like it would definitely go great with rice. Bookmarking it. Thanks, pso.

Yum! I like the homemade hoisin sauce recipe:) Wonder how chicken breasts would work as opposed to thighs?

The breasts would take longer. Stick an instant read thermometer into a breast after the first half hour to see how long you need to bake. Monitor for 165F for the breasts. Remove from oven and tent with foil for 10 minutes.

I would use breast as well. I just happen to have a few in the freezer. This sounds good. I would say it looks good but I guess that will have to wait for Points to get back to pictures............ Thanks for the heads up

I've been cleaning out my freezer lately and found boneless, skinless thighs. I used them on this. Very good and quick! I loved the foil clean-up. I added a picture which became the main one so I hope she likes it. :-P

Yes, I did, MrP. They were done in 30 minutes. Definitely needed the foil for the clean-up. That hoison got pretty burnt on it!
