  What a fantastic soup. I used 2 lbs. of sausage meat and as I always do allowed the soup to simmer longer than suggested in the recipe. The recipe would be great the way written it is just me for sure. Will be making again.

  Lindsay I used 1 28 oz tin of diced tomatoes. Drained some but not the liquid away. I use Metro's name brand diced tomatoes and they are a fine dice and also there is not much liquid as compared the brand name.
