    Creole Seasoning Blend
I made some of this up to use with Pa Fried Shrimp With Creole Mayonnaise and I was glad I found DT's link on that recipe as I didn't have Creole seasoning in the house. My only change was I had no white pepper so I just used black. Just enough heat for me. I halved the recipe easily enough as well.

I love making my own spice blends! I have a huge store bought jar of creole but when I run out I will make this one! Thanks for posting ;)

Thanks for trying out my recipe, Frankieanne! I'm glad it worked out for you. I like the heat level too, but those who like it more spicy can surely add more cayenne if desired. I try keep some made up in a little air-tight container to have on hand.

I made this and used on for some pork chops. Rubbed and cooked in cast iron with some bacon grease. Super quick and easy. Added a pic of the chops. Really good seasoning. Thanks for sharing DT

I would be lost without having a bottle of Cajun spices mixed up. This is a good one that I have tried before and liked very much but I seem to have settled on Emerils Essence Creole Seasoning which is just a tad hotter as it uses more Cayenne Pepper but does not include basil.
