I wanted to create a blend of seasonings that would be true to the traditional flavors of Creole cooking from New Orleans to use in my Gumbo Yaya Bake recipe. I can't wait to use this in more dishes! So much easier to have everything already blended.

- 1/2 tsp black pepper, freshly ground
- 1/2 tsp white pepper
- 2/3 tsp cayenne pepper (or to taste - most of the heat comes from this)
- 2 tsp salt (or less, start with 1 and see how that works for you)
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 2 tsp onion powder
- 2 tsp oregano
- 2 tsp paprika (I used smoked)
- 1 tsp thyme
- 1 tsp basil

Pa Fried Shrimp With Creole Mayonnaise
