How to make it

  • Combine flour,1 tsp seasoning,and salt in shallow dish. Pour milk into shallow dish. Place breadcrumbs in shallow dish. Dredge shrimp in flour mixture;dip in milk. Dredge shrimp in breadcrumbs;shake off excess.
  • Heat large,non-stick skillet over med-high heat. Add 1-1/2 TB oil to pan;swirl to coat. Add half of shrimp;cook 2 mins each side or till done. Repeat with remmaining shrimp.
  • Combine mayonnaise,remaining Creole seasoning,Worcestershire and hot sauce in small bowl;stir with whisk. Serve mayonnaise with shrimp..

    These were so delicious! I loved the dipping sauce. I used this
    Creole Seasoning Blend recipe for the Creole seasoning as I didn't have any. The only issue I had was there wasn't enough oil. Maybe because I used my electric skillet? I don't know but it was easy enough to remedy. I liked the fact that I didn't throw away that much flour or breadcrumbs either. Added my picture to the gallery. A tad more in IMI

    Now this is the perfect way to fry shrimp! I did add some extras to the bread crumbs- garlic powder, pepper, and dried parsley. I can't get my daughter to touch shrimp with a ten foot pole but she actually ate one (after much begging and pleading and a lot of ketchup) and declared that she only likes shrimp fried now. What a goof! Not sure why my sauce is not the same color as the others but I did just eyeball everything and I don't think I added enough worcestershire. Another good one Pleclare and thank you so much for leaving behind so many wonderful recipes :)

    This goes together quickly and has great flavor & texture. I used my Creole Seasoning Blend and panko bread crumbs. I would at least double the amounts for the mayo part next time, which will probably be soon! Also, I added more seasoning to the mayo to my tastes as my creole blend is on the milder side.
