    Crock Pot Roast
When I saw three to four pounds of meat I had to pass on that amount! Way too much for me. So, I found a 1.5 pound chuck roast. I mixed the beer and stuff up together first and then poured it in with the roast - which I had to cut in half to get it to fit in my crock. I didn't want to cover the meat with liquid so it didn't quite use up all the beer stuff. It was good but I doubt I would make this again.

Gosh, I used to make chuck roast all of the time..until I quit eating beef:) This looks easy enough Frankieanne..I would have to add some pepper at least (I'm a big pepper fan) & a little salt! Was the meat tender? I always had to cook a chuck roast for quite a while to make sure it was tender! Great pictures:)

Thanks, Marie! :) It was odd - part of it was kinda tough but another part was falling apart. Weird.

How long did you cook it for? That's weird that half was tender and half was not. Crazy! Lol :) Looks good though...Michael would love me to pour a beer on our pot roast!

I cooked it for two hours. Flipped it after one. I just had some on a sandwich for a late snack and it was pretty good!

Does anyone ever brown their roast before cooking it? I remember I used to do that...well, when I remembered to.
