Diabetic Sloppy Joe

Recipe by Rodeogirl73: Diabetic Sloppy Joe/saved
OK flavor. Needs salt and a little more tang to the bite.
This recipe could be made on the stovetop as well as the crock.
I sauteed the veggies first and dumped the hamburger on top. I don't like crunchy veggies.
Made Onion Barbeque Buns/saved to go with.

Your missing either vinegar or mustard for that tang! I've made sloppy joe's with either or, and you definitely need it. Great pic.!

This recipe includes pickle juice for a little tang, but I sub 1 T. white vinegar if I don't have pickles on hand. We think it's the best sloppy joe recipe we've ever had: Sloppy Joes

I think pickle juice or vinegar shouldn't violate the rules of diabetic friendly.
