I knew as soon as I saw this post that this HAD to be "just like Mom used to make" and guess what?? IT WAS! We loved it Wynne. So glad you posted it. A childhood fave that I had forgotten about until I saw your post. Made it last night with bbq chicken, your grilled italian potatoes and "baked" beans on the grill. We were late getting supper, so, no pic, but it was awesome and looked pretty much like yours. I used toasted pecans cause that's what I had...the pecan tree out front did well this year. Great recipe.

Its OK if there are duplications though. It is hard finding older threads unless you sit and look. If someone doesn't have time to look for another thread, they are welcome to put in a new one. What is most important is that people see what we are cooking up around here.
