    Egg Yolk Butter Cookies

    We had these wonderful cookies for dessert last night. I did not have any vanilla sugar so I upped the sugar a little and added 1/8 tsp of vanilla. Will be making again but next time if I cannot find the vanilla sugar will up the vanilla a little more. Family loved these cookies just like they were.

    A vanilla bean, scraped or not, in 2 cups sugar, makes fine vanilla sugar. Keep it in a sealed container for 2 weeks before use for flavor to infuse into the sugar. Also put used vanilla bean pods/cinnamon sticks in the bottom of your sugar containers.
    Use it for that special occasion or regular use.
