I love green beans, and remember making your balsamic green beans. This recipe looks good, too. It even uses CI which I have been playing with a lot the last few months. Did you use a whole stick of butter?
One stick of butter is not at all too much. Used a whole head of garlic, crushed and simmered in the butter to knock off the raw garlic taste. My 2 lbs of beans were already snapped blanched and frozen from last year. That might have soaked up any extra butter. Steamed for 25 minutes. There were still a few ice crystals when the steaming began. Simple quick tasty side dish.
