How to make it

  • Place beans in large saucepan and add water to just cover.
  • Boil, then reduce heat and cook until just tender but still crisp(7-10 min), drain
  • In large skillet, melt butter and add garlic.
  • Add beans, toss to coat and cook just til heated through.
  • Add fresh ground pepper and sea or kosher salt just prior to serving.
  • *please note, these are even better if beans are steamed rather than boiled, then tossed in garlic butter*
