An easy preparation for fresh green beans. Goes great with chicken or fish, especially.

Ingredients
- 2lb fresh green beans, cleaned
- 6-8 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 stick butter
- salt and pepper
Directions
- Place beans in large saucepan and add water to just cover.
- Boil, then reduce heat and cook until just tender but still crisp(7-10 min), drain
- In large skillet, melt butter and add garlic.
- Add beans, toss to coat and cook just til heated through.
- Add fresh ground pepper and sea or kosher salt just prior to serving.
- *please note, these are even better if beans are steamed rather than boiled, then tossed in garlic butter*
