These are probably the easiest gingerbread dough I have ever worked with. Cut out cookies never want to cooperate with me, and I was very happy with this one :) Flavor is great, not too sweet so that after the icing is added they are perfect. Did heaping spoon fulls on the spices as Janet recommended, and successfully was able to halve the recipe, since I didn't need 72 cookies lol! Very fun, thank you Janet!!

They're beautiful! So glad the you liked the recipe. I distribute them to numerous people around Christmas and everyone just ADORES them! I know the recipe makes a lot (I use 5"? cookie cutters) and I get about 56 of them. But I figure...if you're gonna do it....do it big! :)
