Sweeter than most, this was so good, I threw away my usual cornbread recipe after making it: Grandmothers Buttermilk Cornbread

This is very sweet and moist and it does taste more like cake than cornbread! I melted the butter in a bowl in the microwave instead of using a pan on the stove. I suppose Grandmother didn't have a microwave though. It went great with the Maple Syrup Beans I made.
