Recipe by Nancerose: Herbed Butter Pasta/saved

Bwahahahahaha.............Oh my sides hurt............. Really?! "Serves 4 or 5"?

It's a minimalist recipe, a good thing. Quick and easy as boiling water. A simple butter pasta with dried herbs.
    I quadrupled the recipe.

If it was a side dish it might serve 4 but definitely not as the main dish. Sounds simply good.

I like light simple pasta dishes, looks really good Points:) I've used EVOO and made something similar for a quick easy meal..I'll bet fresh herbs would be great as well..especially basil! Nice review!

I agree with Lovebreezy it would have to be a small side dish to serve 4 or 5, 4 oz of pasta is not much! The lemon chive version of this pasta sounds delicious!

I made this to go with left over chicken. Used vermicelli, basil, oregano, and thyme. Its a very simple and quick side. I make something similar to her Nutty Cheese option using olive oil, garlic, and almonds then sprinkle with parm. This was good. Thanks for the heads up Points. Added a pic
BTW, Points, I see celery in your pic : ) Oh, and you dated your review as September. Just thought I would let ya know

So are you growing the purple basil Mr. P or just keep restocking at the store? I grew it once a couple years ago and haven't been able to find it since though...pretty stuff!
