I love this group!

What an awesome idea that Lilliancooks had when she came up with this group! I had no idea it existed until Juels added one of my recipes to it after she had made the recipe and commented on it.

I try so many recipes from this site, and enjoy photographing my results to post - I hope that my foodie friends are pleased that I tried their recipes and don't mind that I add pictures to their recipes. I hope that posting the pictures helps to direct more traffic to their recipes, so others can find great food, like I have!

When I found out about this group, I quickly added all the recipes from others that I have made. Then I notices Lillian's note that we should include a 'topic' about the recipes we add, so I went back and did that. I am terrible in forums, so please forgive me if it was really annoying that I did that.

I enjoy cooking so much and I take pride in that all the recipes on my page are ones I have made myself. I never post anything without having made it first, so that's one more reason I really like this group. Fits right in with the way I cook and post my recipes.

Thanks Lillian for creating such a great group and I am pleased to be a member of it!

I agree, this was a SUPER idea of Lillian's to create a group like this, and I like it the way she keeps up with the forums and recipes that are being posted here. That's a lot of work!
I cook the same way you do, Natalie, only post the tried and true recipes and always add a picture. I think pics help people decide sometimes whether or not they want to make a certain recipe.
And you are not being annoying! I love to see what others have made and what their opinion was.

I feel the exact same way that you both feel...I love to see photos of the actual recipe after its been made! I also love to hear what the person who tried it, thought about the recipe and what changes, if any they have made.

You are definitely not annoying! It is wonderful to see a new thread that mentions a recipe that has just been posted to the group...but its not a requirement. Its just a way of brining some attention to that recipe. And may encourage others to try it also.

Thank you so very much for all your effort in posting and mentioning all the recipes you added here! I really do enjoy 'gawking' at all the recipes that members post to this group...as I hope others do also!

Please keep posting those 'Made' recipes!!! :)

This is my favorite group here at GR as well. I also don't post recipes I have not made nor do I rate ones unless I make them, so this has been a really great outlet for me in my trying out of recipes posted here. I think this is a really fantastic group and I thank Lillian for creating it. :)

Natalie, Thanks for catching us up on all the recipes you have made.....That is the idea of this group... We all learn something with every review and most reviews bring up alternative topics to be discussed. This is one of my favorite groups for sure.....

I do hope people will start to add a link to the recipe they are reviewing...it's so much easier to find it. I failed to do this on my recent posts, but will start to add a link on my future ones. Oh...and I will try to start uploading pictures too :)
