I just checked to see if I had some dark rum, but I don't! I wonder if it would work with regular rum...or some other kind of liquor? I have cream sherry, marsala and whiskey.

Hi Lillian, The dark rum adds a little richer flavor but you could use light rum no problem........ I think whiskey would work too... And thank you Vickie for your great review. I am really glad you liked it.
