    Korean Bulgogi
I was totally inspired by Janet's (Chuckieb) avatar! I just had to ask what that yummy looking food was and she said beef bulgogi, which I had never heard of! I found a recipe here and when I saw brown sugar was one of the ingredients, I thought I would probably love it and I did! I had a 1.3 pound flat iron steak and I must have sliced it exactly right as the beef was very tender! I cut the brown sugar and soy in half - left the vegetables as they were written. I had some lo mein noodles and, as I felt like having noodles, I served those up instead of rice. I stirred the noodles around in the sauce that was left in the pan. Soooo good! Thanks, Janet!! :-D

Wow Frankieanne! You done good! :) That looks most delicious. I'm very pleased to hear you liked the recipe as I would totally like to make it at home myself now that I've tried it twice in a Korean restaurant. In the restaurant they served it with sticky rice, soybean paste and lettuce leaves and you smear the lettuce leaf (romaine) with the soybean paste then add some sticky rice and then top with the bulgogi and pop it in your mouth. SO good! I shall totally bookmark this to try myself. Nice post!

Holy moly this looks good! It's always hit or miss when I make Chinese or Japanese type food. Sometimes it's perfect, but a lot of times it's too sweet or not to sweet or too much sesame oil. Anyway this looks perfect, beautiful pics!!
