Chilpotle Citrus Chicken

Made this for another late dinner. This marinated over 24 hours due to not wanting to grill last night. Forced myself to make them tonight. Didnt want the lime to "cook" the chicken like the recipe said. Is that true? Anyway, I made just over 5lbs. I used a whole can of chilpotle peppers in adobo sauce. I didnt have 3 limes so I zested one and then used its juice. I also didnt add the cumin or cilantro. Cilantro because..........ummm...........yuck. And cumin because I didnt feel like cumin at the time. I really liked this. I also didnt slice th breast up as you can see. Nice heat and lime flavor. I am fairly new to chilpotles and have been trying them with many dishes. Good stuff. Will be making this again. Thanks luchese for a great recipe

Was it pretty spicy Mr P? I always have to go easy with chipotles because Mr Ml2c doesn't like the flavor of them as much as I do. I would love this though! Great grill marks ;)

Ml2c, I didnt think it was that spicy. I thought it would have more. I had 1 cold for lunch and it had a slight bite. I think it goes great with the lime.

Thanks Frankie... If ya dont like heat, I would stay clear of this. You could always cut back the amount of peppers. The smokiness of it is great too

NPMarie. Thank you for not calling my Bronco a jeep. 90%+ always do. Getting my EB in situations like this is a hobby of mine. I drove it up. The group that I was with stopped me just before I started to come down so I could get this pic. Jumped out for the pic then drove right over and out. FUN STUFF :) A lot of wear and tear tho. Tires dont last too long. Nor does the alignment
