Mushroom Barley Soup

    Recipe by Pleclare: Mushroom Barley Soup/saved
    A nice earthy soup. I put in a pinch too much pepper for us.
    Sauteed veggies took at least 15minutes to evaporate the water from them.
    Did an ingredient search for 1/2c barley so I could throw out its box which was taking up room.
    Made my own chicken stock instead of using broth. Added back in about 2cups shredded chicken from making the stock and decided there were a couple of taters in the pantry making eyes at me.
    Loved the addition of dill.
    This recipe already has the reviews icon but no link, which is now remedied.
