    Olive And Lemon Chicken

    I have to tell you, this was so flavorful! Easy to make and totally delicious..the lemon did brighten this up and the garlic added so much flavor...I used ripe green olives (taste like ripe black olives) I didn't have fresh thyme on hand so I sprinkled some dried on the chicken breast..worked well:) The chicken breast's were on the small side so I cooked them for about 20 minutes. Served with homemade rice pilaf (a recipe my Mom has been making for years) Thanks Pkusmc for a great recipe! I WILL be making this again & again:)

    Thanks Ladies:) Michelle, you could totally make this omitting the olives..it would still be tasty! They don't even like black olives? You could ALSO make it and just not serve them the olives, the olive flavor is pretty mild in this dish..that's what I would do:)

    Your right Marie I could just not serve the olives to them...duh! The kids don't like any type of olive at all, but my husband doesn't care for the black one's but will eat them if they are not easily able to be picked out lol. He wont touch the other types.

    Honestly, the olives really add to this dish...I highly recommend using the milder black olives..even if you don't think your going to like them:)
