Orange Blondies

    Recipe by Krumkake: Orange Blondies
More sugar than flour, then more sugar in the glaze.
I know I busted my diet just sampling the recipe.
It's an almost dripping wet cake like snack with the glaze added. Think I would like to try this again without the glaze.
Cake sinks a little in the center upon cooling. It's enough to let the glaze drain to the middle of the cake. One has to tip the pan in all directions to spread the glaze out.
It's good and sweet with a lot of orange flavor. I can see how someone could pig out to this addictive little treat.

Finally found a confection that was too sweet for mother and I'm not supposed to eat it to keep my blood-sugar in check.
    What to do!

Wow, I didn't even look at the amount of sugar..could you use maybe 1 1/2 cups or less Points? Have you ever tried Splenda?

Did a quick perusal of orange blondies on the 'net.
All the glazes used half the amount of OJ.

This reminds me of a Jello cake my mom used to make when I was a kid. The bottom would be nice and wet from the Jello glaze. Delicious looking, pso!
