Original Zucchini Casserole

Recipe by Twill10: Original Zucchini Casserole
This recipe certainly should be called "cheese and egg casserole" because those are the dominant flavors. 'Zukes play a background role. Plenty of seasoning in this one. No need to adjust S&P.
I was ascared to add the two little chiles but they worked out just fine. Only place I found the requisite chiles were at a Mexican store after hitting all the local stores. Must be the wrong time of the year for chile peppers. Mother had a second helping, so that's a high 5 with extra sparkles.
Casserole could be served for breakfast as the cheese and egg hold sway.
Used Homemade Panko Bread Crumbs to make the half pound crumbs.
Twenty minutes bake time on the casserole was done and lightly brown. Authors pic is a little darker.
Oops, forgot to sprinkle the paprikia.
Full 5 from me too. I like that the seasoning is already set. Maybe it was the chiles doing it or all the salt in the cheeses.
Casserole set up well on the plate even when dished out hot.
Bet it would be good in a burrito wrap for a breakfast burrito for someone on the move.

Keep your nose away from the zuke/chille mix when it first starts a boil. It will definately catch you up short and make you cough.

That's so strange points. You had a 5 star rating + comment on there didn't you? So the author would have had to erase it then too..
