    Oven Fried Chicken
    In my search for the perfect oven "fried" chicken, I have found I prefer a flour with spices coated chicken baked in butter. Start skin side down, then flip halfway through. When I saw this one, I thought it may work without the flipping due to the melted butter on the flour. I was very careful in pouring the butter on, making certain to dribble it on so it soaked in the flour. This one had great results with a very crispy skin much like fried chicken. My only complaint would be it needs some garlic powder. Borrowed pso's trick of half regular paprika and half smoked.

    Wow that looks great. Bookmarked to try sometime soon. I have been doing fried chicken in the oven but using the spray oil on top. Will have to give this a try soon. Agree with other great pick.

    Gave this recipe a try on 12/9/15. Adjusted the seasonings per prior reviews, brushed the chicken with butter first, and followed Frankieanne's suggestion about turning the chicken at the half way point. Excellent!

    This is a great chicken recipe. Used bone in skin less chicken legs and breasts. I tweaked the recipe as DIZ3 had done.
