Panettone Bread Pudding

    Panettone Bread Pudding

This is a good recipe but I found that it had more of a custard taste and texture. I will be making again however I will be checking and comparing other bread pudding recipes so that I can adjust.

Bread pudding needs more of a sturdy bread instead of Panettone, which is more cake like in texture.
Alternately one could toast the bread in the oven before soaking in the custard mixture.

That is a good point you have Pointsevenout. I did a Panettone Bread Pudding last year which had a combination of Panettone bread as well as white bread. Wish that I had saved it as it was so good.

I've been making Panettone Bread pudding on and off every Xmas for the past ten years, I love it so much! The link is below if anyone is interested. The Ameretto sauce is optional, but oh so good!!:

Really, haha, too funny! We really like it. I've always put in the fridge a day ahead as I usually pack it with me and bake it at my family's house.
The Amaretto sauce really makes it the bomb though!! :)

I haven't tried either of those either! Either, either, I thought of a bunch of different ways to reword that sentence so it didn't look funny lol :P Looks really good though!
