Crepes Stuffed With Ham, Swiss Cheese & Asparagus Drizzled With Maple Syrup

The kiddos are at the grandparents and the husband is working. So lets make something none of them would eat but I would LOVE! This crepe recipe is spot on and super easy! I had to choose the whisk method cause the kitchen aid is getting bandaged right now :( I was starving and didn't read ahead so too late I saw the hour refrigeration. I skipped it and they still turned out great! The shininess and smoothness of the batter and the texture of the final crepe product always makes me happy ;) For the asparagus and ham I just threw both in a skillet with some butter and cooked till done with salt and pepper. Used the microwave option in the end and it was delicious!!! Recommend to everyone ;)

Those asparagus looks perfect. Even the ham playing peek-a-boo is picture perfect. Nice pic ML2C. These sound and look great. I dont think Im ready to try making crepes yet, though. But those are sure nice to look at and think about eating :)

Are we/GR changing the titles of IMI to the recipes author and no longer titling it by the recipe?

Thanks Mr.P. When you are ready for crepes start with these cause these have turned out better than any others I tried!

No I'm keeping it the title but this one was just SO LONG, I didn't think it would fit! Not sure what the letter allowed number is on the main post lol!

I've always done the submitter's name .... just gives me a chance to give kudos out there, and, since the recipe links inside...my nearly OCD brain sees it as redundant .... but, that's just me. And, I'm admittedly weird. ;-)

Nice photo,luv...and great flavor combo, for sure!

    Mommyluvs2cook, Thank you so much.:-)
I am delighted you liked it.:-) Very nice pic too! Crepes are quite easy to make and I always keep a batch on hand in the freezer. Thanks for the info Keni on putting the submitter's name in. I shall do that in the future. Unless I can change the one I did for Fankieanne yesterday? Thank you for all your nice comments.:-)
Very much appreciated.:-) LOL I guess the title is too long! It was one of my first posts.

Good4U, I always include the submitter's name in the comment, like you did with Frankieanne's recipe, when I post a thread to IMI to give them credit for the recipe. For me, I like seeing the name of the recipe when I open the IMI group ~~ if it's not too long to fit in there... ;)

I do not believe that you can change the name of a group thread - a recipe title, yes but no on the thread title, just the text that's in the comment box.

I've only made crepes with sweet fillings, not savory. I'm sure I'd like yours. :)

Thanks GK LOL I just tried it!!! Frankieanne found it. I also did a review in her post and inserted a pic. I rarely do crepes with sweet fillings. I should make up a sweet batch recipe for Christmas and post it then.:-) The one above is the one I make most often.
LOL I would love one right now but don't have any ham at the moment! You can put just about anything in them though.:-)

I also like looking through IMI for recipes. Especially when I want to go back and read about a recipe. Im so bad at remembering names that I would probably never find it here again if listed by submitters name. But that's just me and my lousy memory and Im weird that way. And if I forget to admit that Im weird, there are plenty of people that will admit it for me : P

Well....I really need to get better lighting to take my foodie pictures! I made this up for brekkie this morning. Must admit to being in a rush so it wasn't until after eating the crepes that I realized I should have cut them in half, or something as you can't tell at all what's inside. :) But trust me....there's asparagus cheese and ham. :)
Joce, this was a great recipe. Mom had never had crepes before??????? So I told her I'd rectify that in a hurry. I got 15 8" crepes out of the batter and am going to freeze the extra for another day (or two, or three!)
We're not big Maple syrup fans so I used Hollandaise instead. Soooo good!

I am delighted you tried this Janet:) They come in so handy for me all the time! I probably do mine in a 10" or 12" pan and I usually get around 10 of them. They are great with Hollandasie sauce too! Your pic looks yummy with all the sauce on them!
Thanks so much for your lovely review and I am very happy your Mom loved them too:)
