    Ricks Rib Rub
I was going to have a steak tonight and when I saw this with brown sugar as an ingredient I wanted to try it. I quartered this recipe and left out the cayenne. It was delicious. I could just taste the brown sugar with the paprika and it had just enough spiciness for me. I have some leftover. I'm giving some to a friend and will use the rest on some chicken tomorrow. Thanks, Marie! Or should I say Thanks, Rick! :)

I am so pleased you like the rub! I showed Rick your picture and he said "UMMMMMM, that looks good!" We grilled chicken tonight using this rub as well! I love your pic Frankieanne and appreciate your nice review!

    Thank you, IMI gals. :)
This really spiced up plain ol' chicken breast. I think I liked it better on chicken than the steak! No picture. Dinner was late. I'm settling in a new, old senior doggie. :)

Guess I'm on a roll with making "made" recipes lately lol! Marie had mentioned this yesterday in ODD and I'm glad she did, I've been meaning to make this! It's a fantastic rub for sure, lots of great spices going on, and the smoked paprika is the star! I used to small of a bowl when I started putting this rub together so I had to transfer to another bowl and I lost some spices underneath other spices for the picture :( Oh well! I boiled some ribs for an hour and then rubbed the spice on after patting dry. Put BBQ sauce on half and the other half just left with spice rub. We enjoyed them both ways! Had a few ribs leftover that Michael happily took to work today :) Tell Rick we said thanks Marie, these were delish!!

Oooo, steak. *Now* you're talkin' my hubby's language! I've never used a rub before, but, after looking at the picture of your delicious dinner, Frankie, it might be worth a try.

I remember I had some of this leftover, too, and put it in an airtight container and it kept just fine. I love your picture, Michelle. Nice close up. Its making me hungry. I like the idea of this on chicken!

Thanks FA! I think my next use for this will be rubbed on and under chicken skin with a little olive oil.
