I have not made this recipe but I have tasted it... Does that count?..;-)~ I had the honor of receiving a couple of loaves from Vickie and the taste and texture is wonderful. I am not a baker but I would highly recommend anyone who likes artisan bread try this recipe....

LOL Jim! Yes, that counts! Thanks for mentioning it here!

Now how can I get Vickie to send me a couple of loaves? LOL!

Sounds like a great bread recipe! The only place around here that has good artisan breads is a place called Panera Bread Company. Its a franchise so they have shops all over the U.S. or is it just the east coast? Very good sandwiches and desserts too!

Maybe I could trade her something for it! I wish my dehydrator didn't burn out...I could of sent her some beef jerky! I used to make it with london broil. Maybe I could send her some apple jerky...I make that in the oven.

Hey we should do that...we should all do a food trade. We could make a list of items that are non perishable, that we can make and trade with each other. We would have to PM our home address to who ever we are trading with. What do you guys think of that? Anyone interested?

It's the caffeine that makes them jerky. I hate having to 'splain my jokes.

I like the food trade idea! Maybe you should post a thread by itself to see who all would be interested.

Hey Angel! Great...I was thinking about making a separate group just for the trade. I'll have to think about how to set it up. All ideas are welcome!

Maybe members who are interested in joining can tell what food item or items they would make for a trade. Everyone can look over the list of items and make arrangements with the member they would like to trade with. They can PM each other with their home address so the food can be sent.

How does that sound? Does anyone have any input? Lets hear from who ever would like to join!
