Recipe by Pleclare: Sallis Corn Light Bread/saved
It's a sweet cornbread. Yes, I used yellow meal!
Didn't get any rise but the crumb was just fine.
Used powdered buttermilk. So I put all the dry ingredients together then added the liquid.
Loaf is dense but nice. Baked in 50 minutes.
Mother wanted it hot from the oven but we had to wait 10 minutes for the loaf to release from the pan.
Mother said "GOOD" with melted butter shining on her lips.

I saved this one, I plan on making a big pot of chili soon, so this would be nice to accompany it. Lol at Mother :)
