    Sassy Steak Marinade And Sauce
This was so good! I've never had anything like this! I found this using the search word "marinade" and filtering by "grill." When I saw the cocktail sauce ingredient, I was immediately curious. I had a couple of little steaks that were labeled "petite sirloin ball tip" which I have never heard of but they were super tender! So, I was pleased with that. I cut the recipe in half because of the size of my little steaks. Skipped the mushrooms for the obvious. :-P More on the recipe.

Never thought of using cocktail sauce in a marinade..I believe most marinades work well with both beef & chicken..so I think I'll bookmark this one;) Lovely picture:)

Had a flank steak in the freezer and wanted to try something different with it. This recipe appealed to me because of the cocktail sauce/soya sauce mixture.
I decreased the amount of honey from 1/4 cup to a tbsp. and it was perfect for us. (We're not sweet with meat people) I didn't add the seasoning salt as I felt there was enough between the cocktail sauce and the soya sauce. Didn't cook mushrooms as a garnish either.
I marinated the Flank steak all day. The very best thing about the recipe is that the steak came out really tender. Both my husband and I commented on it. The marinade was nice.
I think I'll try it again with a BBQ steak one day with shrimp on the side as I think the heated marinade would also taste yummy with some shrimp.
Added my picture on the recipe page.
Thanks for bringing it to my attention Frankieanne.

That flank steak looks absolutely gorgeous, Janet! Just beautiful. Glad you were able to make the honey adjustment so it worked out for you.
