    Recipe by Godiva: Scalloped Potatoes/saved
Good grub. Who'da thunk that covering potatoes for the first part of baking would make them done all the way through.
Made this in an earlier life before we were linking to the recipes.
This fits into a 10x15 casserole dish using 8 large spuds. And I don't see any reason not to increase the seasoning. This IS, after all, a potato dish.

Yum, I love scalloped potatoes. I haven't had them in years. My ex-mother-in-law made the best ones. Just dabbing butter on the peeled and sliced potatoes, sprinkling a bit of flour and then putting on some milk. I don't know how she did it but they were good every time. No measuring. I wish I had some now!

For some reason I always think of cheesy when I hear the word scalloped potatoes, but hey no cheese in this recipe!

For some reason it drives me crazy when I see a scalloped recipe with cheese--in my mind I yell that's au gratin not scalloped. I need to learn to chill.

I'm guilty of adding cheese to a scallop recipe.
    'Skuse Me.
Did it last time I made this recipe between 4 and 5 years ago but not this time.

Making this dish with 8 potatoes instead of 6 requires the milk to be doubled by half for good coverage.
