Omg, those look so delicious!! I'm not sure if I've ever had cheese with shrimp either and I think smoked gouda was an excellent choice!! Another one saved :D

Thank you, ladies. They were delicious!
Thank you, Marie. Those are my fishy/ocean plates so I always eat my fish and seafood on them. Silly. :-P

They look like vintage plates....really cool..I want some plates like that:-) Also, I don't think it's silly to eat seafood on fishy plates...:)

I got them, believe it or not, at Long's before they were CVS. They look like this one:

I didn't pay that much!! They are discontinued now. I have a trivet and a spoon holder that match.

I made these last weekend and they are awesome!! I think the dipping sauce is the perfect balance with the salty bacon. I could eat that stuff on anything :) I used 1/2 piece of bacon as well with only 1 shrimp instead of 2 per toothpick, mainly because I forgot I was supposed to do 2 lol! I did half with smoked Gouda and the other half with sharp cheddar. They are a little tricky to get wrapped, mainly just from slipping around, but well worth the work. Good stuff Tina!! Added my pic.
