Spaghetti Pie

Made this delicious recipe on 1/24/16 and was loved by my husband and I. Quite filling! It comes together really easily and really quick. I followed to a T except for using Italian Herb seasoned tomato paste. I recommend this! Oh, and I particularly enjoyed the crispy spaghetti edges.

Lindsay, I know that must have been good because it's so similar to my recipe for spaghetti pie ;) It's an interesting twist on spaghetti and we love it!

I've never had spaghetti pie. I've wanted to try it but the recipes always make so much! I need to cut one down and try it. I think I would like the crispy spaghetti. :)

Frankie- it does make a lot. I think this recipe is less than the baked spaghetti recipe I used to make which was very similar. I'd like to find a way to make less, although I must say husband was very pleased with leftovers!

Frankie and Mommyluvs2cook, here is my recipe that I posted under my old screen name of bestcooker if you want to compare the two. They are very similar: Spaghetti Pie

I found one online for two that uses 3 ounces of angel hair and 1/3 pound of ground meat and put into a 7" pie plate or two cup baking dish. So, that will help me cut things down.

Yours looks good, Bakerme. I could easily cut that in half because of the two eggs. I like the pizza sauce thing, too. :)

That looks good, Lindsay. I also have one but haven't made it in eons because there are just the two of us. It was on my to make list last week but didn't make, maybe next. It's very different from both that are posted here.

Angel, I like to make recipes that I can get two meals out of, figuring it saves on the grocery bill by not having to buy ingredients for a different dish every night. Unless your recipe makes a ton, go ahead and indulge so you don't have to cook the next night, always a plus in my book! :)

Frankie, I think my recipe would halve nicely and you could use any small casserole if you don't have a small pie plate.
