Tantalizing Crock Pot Chicken with Artichokes and Tomatoes

A recipe by Sparow64 Tantalizing Crock Pot Chicken With Artichokes Tomatoes And Mushrooms

I made this today and it was very tasty! It has all the ingredients I love, chicken, arti's & Dijon mustard ..they work so well together! I used chicken tenders and cooked on low for about 5 hours. I also used 1/4 cup Dry Sherry (That's all I had!) which made a delicious sauce for our mashed potatos, and I didn't add any bacon:)
    Thanks Lori! Loved your recipe:)

I have been meaning to get a bottle of sherry. Is it a red wine? I still have my bottle of Marsala from making your Marsala Chicken, NP. Is Marsala and sherry close?

    Thanks ML2C:)

Mr. P, The Dry Sherry I use is light in color, some are a really light brown, but, the longer the Sherry is aged, the darker it gets..from what I have been told:) I think Marsala & Dry Sherry are fairly close in taste, although Marsala is sweeter, and it depends what kind it is, there are quite a few different varieties..When I cook chicken and a recipe calls for a white wine, I will use Dry Sherry or Marsala if I don't have white on hand..makes for a different flavor, but it's always good!

Thanks so much for the nice review and pic, Marie!! Sorry it took me a while to see that you had made it!!! Haven't been to GR in a long long time...have really missed it! Such a nice surprise to sign in and see that you had made one of my recipes the first thing. That's always such a nice compliment for someone to even try a recipe out of the thousands here to choose from. :) So happy you enjoyed it.

Yes Sparow, nice to see you.
I did a crock pot chicken recipe that I need to review but I didn't like it much so I've been procrastinating.
