Tantalizing Crock Pot Chicken With Artichokes Tomatoes And Mushrooms

- 1 to 1 1/2 pounds boneless chicken breasts, cut in 1-inch strips shopping list
- 1 tablespoon real bacon bits or crumbled cooked bacon shopping list
- 1 can (14.5 ounces) diced tomatoes, drained shopping list
- 1 can (15 ounces) artichoke hearts, quartered, drained, or cooked frozen shopping list
- 1 can(4oz) sliced mushrooms, drained shopping list
- 1 packet dry chicken gravy mix (about 1 oz) shopping list
- 1/4 cup red wine, such as cabernet or pinot noir shopping list
- (I don't like red wine, so I never have it. I usually just use chicken stock. white wine would probably work, too) shopping list
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard shopping list
How to make it
- Combine all ingredients in a 3 1/2-quart or larger slow cooker; stir to combine.
- Cover and cook on low 6 to 8 hours.

I made this today and it was delicious! I used chicken tenders and cooked on low for 5 hours..also subbed Dry Sherry for the wine, yum:) Added my picture as well:)
