The Perfect Peanut Butter Cookie

I made these this afternoon. I wouldn't say that they were the best but they are good. I found that the batter and therefore the cookie a bit dry. I was looking for something a little more chewy and these weren't.

I can't get on the site under my old name to edit my recipe note that I referenced in the list of ingredients. It should say that if you use a scant cup of the peanut butter chips, you will have enough to make a second or double batch.

Your cookies look picture perfect! I could never get the hang of making the criss-cross pattern on peanut butter cookies. Another reason I like my recipe. You just roll the dough into balls!

I've saved yours Bakerme, thanks. These were supposed to be a drop cookie but the dough was too dry. I rolled and flattened them with the palm of my hand. This prevented them from cracking when I used the fork.
