Ingredients

How to make it

  • In a medium bowl, combine flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt; set aside.
  • In a large bowl, cream together butter, brown sugar, and peanut butter. Add egg. Stir in flour mixture and blend well. Stir in peanut butter chips.
  • Let the dough sit while you heat the oven to 375 degrees and get out your cookie sheets, parchment paper, and cooling racks. This will allow it to firm up a bit and make it easier to handle. Roll dough into 1-1/2 inch balls. Lightly dip tops of balls in granulated sugar and place on parchment paper lined cookie sheet. Bake 9-10 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool 5 minutes on sheet. Remove to wire rack and cool completely.
  • Note: Recipe makes about 3 dozen cookies and is easily doubled.

Did you add cocoa to this recipe as your picture looks like cookies have some chocolate in them?

I made these yesterday to bring to work today and they were gone within the hour! Guess, my co-workers will have to wait until I make another batch. I used a bag of the swirl chocolate and peanut butter chips and they turned out great! These are some of the best pb cookies Ive eaten. Thanks to Keni for recommending these to me ;)

I made these today to try out my new cookie scoop that I got for Christmas. They are soooo yummy! I used crunchy peanut butter, but otherwise followed the recipe. Will definitely be making these again! Thanks best!!

These are so good, bc! I made a double batch and did have to use an extra 1/4 cup flour, and I didn't pack the brown sugar, but other than that, I didn't change anything. You know I don't have much of a sweet tooth, but I ate two of these after ana's salad at lunch! :) The rest are bein' divided between family and friends and they are loving them! :) Thanks for everything, darlin', including this recipe.

Soft and chewy, just the way we like our cookies! If you bake them longer, they will be hard and crunchy like traditional peanut butter cookies (one reason I never liked peanut butter cookies before finding this recipe).

    These sound really delicious!
I was wondering about their texture; are they soft and chewy or crispy or crunchy?
