Interesting. My first whole wheat pasta. I like the flavor of whole wheat bread but I could , take it or leave it, this pasta. If I make it again it will be with semolina.
Mother likes this dish a lot and she doesn't like whole wheat. Not sure if she knows that this is whole wheat. She just loves her spaghetti.
    Definitely needs S&P.
Didn't know how much olive oil to use. Recipe is non specific about that. Put in several glugs, about a quarter cup.
Whole wheat spaghetti is still quite firm after 30 minutes of boil. I wouldn't worry about overcooking it.

I have used whole wheat pasta, but prefer good old regular pasta, especially spaghetti....this looks really good! Nice pic P7O!

Thanks for trying and commenting on my recipe. The whole wheat spaghetti, I buy here ( Trader Joe's, again ;) cook in 12 min., almost like regular pasta. I love it with rustic ingredients, like greens and bacon. For lighter pasta dishes, like sea food or cream sauces, I use regular spaghetti. And, yes, whole wheat always needs a bit more salt. Nice picture :)

That's a good looking recipe. I like the spinach idea. I prefer plain ol' pasta, too. Not a fan of the whole wheat. I love the picture, pso.

I wanted to make this tonight but really bad but realized I didn't have the spaghetti. Don't feel like going to the store either, so it's something else. Glad you liked this though, and can't wait to try it!

Got the spaghetti to make this. Used 1/2 spinach and 1/2 swiss chard cause that's all I could get from my garden. Also I added some tomatoes as well. Served with a side of toasted sourdough bread. I loved it and the family inhaled it! I just added olive oil after adding the spaghetti until I thought it was enough, maybe about 1-2 Tbs...Very good and light pasta dish! Added my pic to the recipe...

You have a garden going? Is it a winter started one? I'm so lazy in the winter.
Did you use whole wheat spaghetti? It doesn't look like it but that might be the lighting...

I do have a winter garden! It's not doing to hot this year since it's so warm. Like 80 every day. It was super dark when I took that picture so I put the plate on the island under the light and took the pic. It was whole wheat...
