    Wonton Rounds Topped With Mushrooms
    by Joce!
    THESE WERE DEELICOUS!
I had so much fun making them too, which is always a bonus. The recipe makes 20 rounds and so I just eyeballed ingredients to cut it down to three each for Hubby and I as an appy last night.
Poured a bit of oil (maybe 1/2"?) in my fry pan and once it was heated I gently lowered the wonton rounds in. Too fun watching them crisp up. Wasn't sure if I was supposed to flip them. If I hadn't, the inside would have been quite 'white' looking, so I did flip them. The mushroom mixture was easy to throw together and very flavourful. The lime and cilantro was a nice touch.
Hubby loved them and said "That recipe is a keeper" and I'll definitely make it again. Awesome appy Joce! Thanks!

Thanks FA! You could totally use the wonton rounds for a ton of different appy ideas. They're really nice, light and crispy.

I made these for lunch to go with a salad. I had actually wanted to make these 2 days ago but didn't have the lime and it's ironic that Janet posted this recipe today lol! I halved the recipe ate 4 then refrigerated the rest to reheat in the oven. The lime is a MUST so I'm so glad I waited until I got some. The wontons are nice, light and so crispy. Very good Joce!

I just served the wonton rounds cold with the hot mushroom topping. We have company arriving tomorrow for dinner so I'm going to make more of these tomorrow.
